I take that to mean 'I've calmed down now and can see that I'm a bit of a diva and also my behaviour could possibly reduce my marketability so best tell the world I'm a good guy really.'

The press and media are trying so hard to make something out of it, its been ages since there have been some true rivalry in F1, and specially between team-mates. But in my eyes they have failed to make an impression on me in terms of that so called rivalry off track. On the track, I have missed such intense battle for pole, win for a long time. So please do all the talking while you are driving, and once you get off the car, like Hammy keep saying I forgot

Nico's too grounded and smart to get genuinely heated, he's too subtle. Fortunately for us Hammy seems very good at winding himself up.

Simon Barnes, the Times newspaper sports columnist, had a nice thing to say on this matter. (I don't read his articles, not a fan of his writing style. This was a very short piece in the Notes section.) I can't find the exact transcript but he said words to the effect:

Lewis' behaviour after qualifying was poor - and looking p*ssed off doesn't help with your cool image. Next time Lewis, look Nico in the eye, give a firm but not too firm handshake, and say, 'Well done, you did it.'. We'll all know what you're talking about.

If Lewis could have done that he would have been two times world champion by now. I think being a protected and prodigious talent of McLaren, some part of him never matured, and time after time, whenever he is stressed condition he seems show us, which is happening far too often these days.
