Yeah really, a year and a half real simulation of a voyage to Mars about to begin on June 3rd.

That's got to be really tough to get the right people for.  Honestly, the people that we REALLY send to Mars are going to have to be the best of the best... there is no way we can lock up the same sort of people for 520 days.  If I was qualified to go to Mars, I wouldn't participate in this crap, unless I was guaranteed a real trip to Mars afterward.

Now... if the experiment was to eat Mars bars for 520 days, I'd be first in line.
